Bought used 2008 Chev Suburban, 77,000 miles, no warranty - vehicle looked like new. Drove it a couple of months, radio would go off, blinkers quit making noise along with backup signal. Door locks would go off and on. Vehicle would be totally dead when trying to restart. Wiggling the cable leading to battery would bring it back to life. Took it back to dealer - diagnostics said short in radio. Dealer ordered new radio and installed it for free. 2 weeks later its doing the same thing. Took it back to dealer - now they say cable leading to battery replacement will run around $850. Don't really trust it will be a permanent solution and don't really trust the dealer anymore. Will probably get rid of it and go back to a Honda. Really disgusted. Have a case filed with GM now and waiting to see if they will help because my research online shows that this is a common problem with a lot of owners. When power goes out while driving the vehicle - which it has done so going around a curve - its a safety issue that should be addressed by the manufacturer. Maybe if enough people complain it will be. Thanks for your page. Facebook will hear me really go off if nothing gets resolved!
