Bought new from Concord (CA) Chevrolet dealer. First hot day of summer only hot air coming from AC vents. Took to original dealer and was told the AC condenser was leaking and the unit would not hold a charge. I was told that the warranty had expired at 36,000 miles. The dealer stated that the condenser would need to be replaced. In researching the internet the condenser has a history of frequent early failures for this make and model and GM is aware of this vulnerable part but cave no warning to its customers in advance. I feel that even though I was slightly past the warranty mileage GM should cover a known anticipated defect.
