On the afternoon of July 27th, we got into our Suburban and upon cranking it it automatically began to shake, and then the codes came up. We had a traction control light, Engine light, then others came on as well. We drove it about 2 miles to get it home and left it parked. We called the dealer and asked about towing it to their facility to inspect the issue and we still had an extended warranty on the vehicle.

Now we are two weeks later and dealing with warranty/adjuster to see if they will cover the engine repair. At first, they were denying because we couldn't give them a mileage in which an oil change was completed. We changed every time it would show up on the instrument panel. Needless to say, we only drive it occasionally and therefore the code to change would not flag till almost 10k miles. Upon talking with warranty, they said that is normal because we didn't drive it everyday. We are still waiting on them to cover everything, even though there is a bulletin on the problem no recall has been issued as of yet. We have been told that it would cost over $6k to repair just the lifters. I'm really praying that everything will cover under our warranty since we do have one.
