So during my move I noticed my head light had gone out. Luckily it was the weekend so I didn't see the urgency in getting it fixed I just wouldn't drive at night. A few days later I got in my car at dusk, not even thinking my lights are not working and they worked. Fast forward a month later I get into my car 5am to head to work, its dark outside, my lights are not coming on. So I had to put my high beams on. Thank goodness they worked. I have had to drive to work this whole week so far with my High beams because after buying new bulbs and installing them. I found out that it wasn't the bulbs at all. WTF I am so tired of being flashed for having to drive with my high beams on.

Everyone I take it to wants to charge $100+ just to perform a diagnostic. So far I'm riding to work every day with high beams on, annoying other drivers.

Trailblazer LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 42,000 miles

my low beam headlights will randomly go out while I am driving - of course I only notice this at night -- but it is a very dangerous situation to be in, especially when you are on the Interstate and have to pull over to the side and can't see...major safety issue.

the High beam lights still will work, just the low beam goes out.

What could be the problem??
