Bought used about 5 years ago. The vehicle was great up until about a year ago when ignition switches started failing about every 6 months. Thankfully they are limited lifetime warranty so I think I only paid for one. The passenger side headlight kept failing and I finally found that the connector on the end of the pigtail was all burned and blackened. I snipped it off and replaced with a higher quality connector. Since then have had no problems with headlights. Now the vehicle started exhibiting signs that the ignition switch was failing again, so I got my usual warranty ignition switch and installed. Issue continued. Battery is draining rapidly and a buzzing noise is heard in the steering column around the ignition switch location when turning the key to start. Had the battery, starter, and alternator tested. All come back good. Taking to a dealer tonight.
