- Summary
- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have whistle, scrape or whine type noise while driving that may be more noticeable during regenerative braking. Technician may find this noise emanating from the left side of the drive unit. The tech may also state that the vehicle has a current or history diagnostic trouble code P0A46. The noise may be caused by the drive motor rotor bearing cage separated. Technician should replace the bearing with the new updated part number.
