CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chrysler 200 carries the torch of "never buy the 1st year of a new vehicle generation" with pride.
The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.

I bought the car new in Apr 2015. At time of purchase I paid $600 to have the GPS system unlocked for the car. It was represented to me at the time that updates would be available once or twice a year.
Now, it turns out that the system ('Here' system) they installed was out of date right from the getgo, it was 2013 maps that they installed. Now it is 2017 and there have been ZERO updates either from Chrysler or Here. When you contact Chrysler Care they keep saying the update has to come from Here and Here says it has to come from Chrysler.
Meanwhile myself and numerous other 200 owners got screwed out of $600 for a dud system. I believe it is bordering on fraud.
Anyone have any constructive answers or suggestions to possibly rectify this would be appreciated.
