CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Chrysler 200 carries the torch of "never buy the 1st year of a new vehicle generation" with pride.

The 2015 model year is the first year of the Chrysler 200's 2nd generation. It has been plagued by problems from the start. Transmission failure at extremely low mileage, many recalls, problems stalling while driving... the list goes on. Maybe Chrysler should have stuck with the 1st generation.

Another issue with the Chrysler 200 S, the car is only 5 years old and the radio keeps rebooting itself. Dealer states need to replace radio ($800) contacted Chrysler stated nothing they can do - the car is out of warranty again. Chrysler does not stand behind their products. I am at the conclusion that the S stands for S***!!!!!!!!! Chrysler is the worst manufacturer - I would never buy anything from them nor recommend to anyone in buying any type of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge.

radio not able to turn off and turns itself on from mute

Although it has great sound, the radio is a pain in the ass. There is no off option. You CAN NOT TURN OFF THE RADIO. The only option is to put it on mute, witch pauses playback, but within minutes the radio mysteriously just turns itself off mute and conitinues to play.
