CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar” warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

Key fobs stopped working, input new batteries in both fobs still not working. One fob has rarely to hardly ever been used so I know it's not damaged. I now have to insert entire fob into passive compartment to start vehicle. Extremely annoying!

Pain in ass when arms full and have to key in door code to unlock vehicle. What happens if wont' recognize manual keying? Also, doors sometimes lock or unlock during driving - this could be a significant issue if had children.
