CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar†warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

Has anyone else had this same problem? This was a new vehicle in August last year, it has been through 1 Midwest winter. It does not travel any gravel roads. It was always washed weekly. Ford says this a rock chip problem, sorry for your loss not our problem. I say it is corrosion from road salt. After paying close too $40,000 for this vehicle and adding on a (auto armor ) paint and surface corrosion system, this what I have after only 8 months of driving
