CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar” warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

Getting in my vehicle one day noticed a bump on the side of the tire and determined it was probably the belt or belts on the inside of tire probably failed. When I was looking online noticed there were recalls for many tires in the komho tire company particularly the solus line in that specific year. This is a very dangerous situation I am told,

Potential early tire failure. This tire line (federal couragia xuv) is first manufactured in September 2015, and all four of mine have displayed noticeable rubber cracking in the tire body area (down inside the tread grooves). Ford dealer and tire dealer have both stated this is very premature condition and advised tire replacement.

Subject: Crack vehicle tires I been in touch with midway Ford in miami where I bought the Ford Edge 2013 0 miles since July 2015 in other to resolve the crack pirelli tires comes with my vehicle. [xxx] gave the pirelli phone and they asked me to get my vehicle 4 times for inspection by their warranty rep. On Feb 4 2016 I got an app. With pirelli rep. At 1:30pm an he offer me a prorated charge of $711.14 to replace the tires, I called [xxx] to explain that my car have only 5600 miles and he responded to me, that is the adjustment because if the tires were cleaned by any product sold on the auto parts in us, that is the cause of tires crack. I astonished to hear that and I ask if their comply with the warranty regulations by the us government, and if there any government Agency to control it, im very disappointed for this long and tiredness way on processing a warranty issue by a pirelli customer affair dept. So I think they used my time to fool me. Please I plead your assistant in this matter. Thank you information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
