Torque steer: the vehicle pulls to one side, usually to the right on most vehicles with this problem. My 2016 Ford Escape upon fairly heavy acceleration pulls to the right sufficiently hard enough to drive into the other lane and continue to turn in a circle. My authorized Ford Dealer, Rick Zoerb Ford, says this is normal and Ford has no recall notices and I should just accept this problem as not a problem. There was no torque steer problem when I first bought the vehicle but there is now a problem.

when accelerating after a full stop, pulls to the right

Took it back to Downs Ford, Toms River, asked for a wheel alignment. The said it didn't need a wheel alignment - its "normal" for it to pull to the right..- was told they all do that..I have to hold on tight every time I break of start going after a full stop. That's "Normal"?
