The vehicle experienced a problem with the Goodyear Wrangler rtf tire model # P235/75R15. The tires had cracks and bubbles on the side wall. The manufacturer was contacted and they replaced the tires. These were replacement tires for the recalled Firestone tires.

Two Goodyear Wrangler tires (size: LT235/75R15, dot#: T300863grf-92W) on 1995, Ford, Explorer have experienced sidewall problems. Left front tire has a two square inch section that has started tearing off of the sidewall with approximately 25,000 miles on the tire. Also, left rear tires sidewall is beginning to split with 25 to 30,000 miles on the tire. These tires are not original equipment for this vehicle.

Left front tire went flat while vehicle was parked. Had only 50,000 miles on it. Took to discount tire retailer, and it was replaced. Tire was destroyed. On other 3 tires sidewalls were separating. Firestone, wilderness ATX, P235/75R15.

Upon taking delivery noticed out of balance condition, had them balanced but still there, while traveling on NY tpk. At 60 mph L.F. sidewall blew out. /replaced all tires and no more vibration. /Goodyear dealer didn't replace. (tiresize: 205R15)( dot number: Tire size: 205R15 )

PE00020; original tires on a Ford, Explorer, 1995, 25570/R16, dotvncu1px029. Sidewall had cracks about inch long, and driver could see the steel belts. Every other inch had a crack. Also, all 4 tires had cracks, consumer replaced tires with Wilderness AT, and at 18, 000 miles consumer was noticing more cracking.
