The Transmission solenoid on my 09 Explorer went out. Apparently this is a common problem with this model. My girlfriend put the car into reverse but it never engaged so the car basically acted like it was in neutral. She rolled backward and hit the car parked behind her. Not happy at all about it

It could be nice, to hear what FORD has to say about. I cant believe how a ford dealer replance a radiator and now the transmission is broken.

Vehicle transmission went out in July. Was replaced at Ford in Forsyth Georgia. Now when applying brake makes noise, and transmission gears down to stop.
