Engine light came on and all of a sudden car went into limp mode dealership said it was the catalytic converters needed to be replaced. Along with the radiator hose and oxygen sensor. After replacing these parts ($4000) I received a phone call that said the radiator needed to be changed because the car was overheating and the coolant had turned into a green sludge and they also needed to change the exhaust manifold. $7900 total now. I get another phone call saying that the car is still overheating after running for 30 minutes and the coolant is spewing all over the place. Now they say I need a new engine (which isn't new it is remanufactured) the new total is around $18,000.00.

At this point I'm in tears so my service guy went to the head service guy and said you need to help this lady out. I've done business with this dealership for over 30 years, so after about a month of back and forth with the head service guy I was able to get the price down to around $14,000.00. Now after about a month waiting, and being told every week that my car will be ready the following week. I still do not have my car and haven't a clue what the heck is going on. Honestly, I am waiting for another bad phone call telling me something else is wrong. Its been over 2 and 1/2 months still no car and my service guy can't even give me a real answer of when it will actually be finished because the mechanic and head service guy keep giving him the run around. How did all of this stuff happen practically overnight, the car ran like I drove it off the lot 11 years ago. Until it went into limp mode and everything broke.
