I drive a 2001 Ford Focus, purchased from a previous owner. I looked through all the records provided by the previous owner and no problems happened whatsoever. Just recently I was about to start my car and the ignition would not budge. I know this is a problem that was recalled with GM and vehicles of similar year and style. My sister had her 2003 Pontiac Grand Am ignition tumbler stop working too. It had to be towed and fixed. Low and behold a recall came out after we had my sisters car fixed and GM refused to reimburse us. I am hoping Ford might be better but from what I've read online it sounds like Ford is as shady as GM. I am going to get it fixed tomorrow, so hopefully I will have a happy outcome with my car. Please comment if you have had similar experiences or problems and how you dealt with it.
