After replacing my battery, my NEW battery (according to my FORD Focus) is dying. The light will turn on randomly for no reason at all. Funny thing is, is that it does it so often I can "feel" when it is about to come on. It does not matter if I am driving or not...my car does not discriminate with its issues! SMH
Battery light stayed on, radio turned off displayed low battery, lights dimmed to almost nothing, air bag light came on and stayed on. Windows rolled down/up slowly, smelled something burning. Wasn't sure was going to make it 20 miles home. Turned off car, wouldn't restart.
Update from Oct 15, 2011: I had and electricial analysis done and found that there wasn't any other problems outside of the altenator. The company (Hibdon Tires) that had replaced the first alt. had to replace it for the 3rd time, this time he used a different brand and it was brand new instead of a rebuilt. So far no problems with this one. So I guess I should not have complained about the car since the alt. had to be replaced 3 times due to the brand the company used to replace the first 2 times.
