definitely annoying
engine problem
I bought the car used about 4 years ago. At first it wasn't using any oil at all. Slowly I have noticed that my car has been using oil. I try to make sure that the oil is changed every 3,000 to 4,0000 miles. I started to notice on my ticket they were saying my oil was a little low at the time I changed my oil. Now it has gotten to where I use about 1 QT in between each time I change oil. I have been very surprised by this. My Toyota had over 200,000 miles on it and never used any. I have never saw any signs of any oil being leaked. I watch that very close. I have always used Lucas oil treatment in all of my vehicles even lawn movers. I just switched to a high mileage oil to see if that makes any difference. I have never seen a honda use oil that fast if it was being taking care of either. If anyone knows why this is going on please let me know. Trying to decide if I need to get rid of it soon. Thanks

Should inform the customers to check oil level in-between oil changes for toping off to avoid huge expenses!

2006 accord lx 4cyl, burns oil. I really took notice of this issue when I had major svc done on 10-1-2011 w an oil chg. On 10-31-2011 went in and 2qts of oil was added, on 11-26-11 oil was added. I added 2qts on 12-17-2011 and 2qts on 1-10-2012. Damn, that's a lot oil I should own stock in oil.

Recently had the oil changed, then get a oil light. This was the second time in the past year. First time thought maybe the mechanic didn't fill up after the oil change. They say the did. This time same thing, within a 4 month it's 2 qts low and the oil light came on. No indication of burning oil, no odor, no indication of leaks, no oil in radiator fluid, so it's gone.
