Accord EXL 3.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,894 miles

This has just started recently the car sometimes accelerates nice and strong and vtec kicks in but other times the car accelerates as if the pedal is only being pressed 3/4 of the way down and vtec doesn't kick in. The rpm still reaches to redline but the engine is quite like it's under very little load/stress. Regular maintenance and service looked after very well the car just reached the 100000km mark! No mods, never used as a daily.

Accord LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 69,000 miles

Got in my car to go to the store and the VSA and the engine light was on, as I was driving wondering why. When I gave it gas it had a bad hesitation like it was looking power so I took it back home and I am wondering if there is a recall on this

Accord ES V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 67,550 miles

On April 10,2012 I went to Harrisonburg, Honda in Va. to have my 2006 Accord fixed because it was stalling in the road whenever I stopped at a red light. They cleaned the EGR valve and ports but two week later the problem occurred again. Now they are saying that excess carbon in my exhaust is causing the problem and they have to clean the whole system. How can this happen when they clean the EGR valve and ports just two week ago and I just drove approximately 60 miles within those two weeks? I reported the situation to Honda Corporate Customer Service Dept. and waiting for an answer. I think carbon cannot accumulate is such a short period of time. I feel they did not perform the job the first time and I paid them $140.79 for the work. Now they want an additional $ 287.00 to clean the exhaust system. I am trying to find out if their work ethic is trustworthy or not. Hope someone on this web site can answer my question.

this problem occur when the car is in park and i put the car in drive and i accelerate slowly is like the car stutters like your driving a manual vehicle and your shifting from 1st to 2nd and so when it change from 2nd to 3rd only when you are accelerating slowly let me know if tis is ok or i need to have this check.

Accord LX 2.2L V4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,000 miles

We only bought the car for 6 months with about 1000 miles. The engine/malfunction light turns on several times when we accelerate while going uphill (even slightly uphill). And the engine kind hesitates/"stutters". When we took it to the car dealership and the car would be fine, the malfunction light is off too. They couldn't find anything wrong with it either.
