CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Honda Accord has a solid reputation (so far), with one very significant flaw: uncomfortable seats.

Owners have consistently reported uncomfortable seats with the entire 8th generation (2008-2012) of Honda Accords. Complaints range from back pain to leg circulation problems due to bad lumbar support, cushioning, & seat angle. Complaints aren't limited to only a certain body type -- the seat comfort problems are from a wide spectrum of owner height & weight.

The common theme we hear is "never noticed this during the test drive." Unfortunately for unwary buyers, the seat pain is noticeable after 15-20 minutes.

I have a 2011 Honda Accord EX-L 2.4 car with only 37k miles on it currently and the vinyl armrest bubbled then ripped on the drivers side. Also, the door panel is bubbling on the same door. I take good care of my things and was disappointed that Honda cut cost at the expense of the consumer. I also had an issue with the rear panel vibrating due the DVD player in the trunk. It's been one issue after another.

It is especially heart breaking that Honda of all companies cut cost on their supplier for leather material. The leather on the door located on the arm rest ripped on our 2011 year Honda Accord EX-L. My wife and I baby our cars and keep them clean and maintained. We are not rough on our cars. I was shocked when I found out how thin the leather measured! It was less than 1/32" it appeared. Of course my reaction was disbelief!!!! How could Honda sell a product where the leather split into at the door panel arm rest.

Now for my second complaint, our door locks on this same car make a sound when they lock automatically. Honda company in Virginia agreed to fox this problem only if I identify which lock it was making the sound. Isn't that the Honda company service department's responsibility?

Please reply back with any comments you may have for me. I will follow with pics and also an official complaints. I am a supplier quality engineer and we need to hold car companies responsible for the product they sell!!!
