CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2011 Honda Accord has a solid reputation (so far), with one very significant flaw: uncomfortable seats.

Owners have consistently reported uncomfortable seats with the entire 8th generation (2008-2012) of Honda Accords. Complaints range from back pain to leg circulation problems due to bad lumbar support, cushioning, & seat angle. Complaints aren't limited to only a certain body type -- the seat comfort problems are from a wide spectrum of owner height & weight.

The common theme we hear is "never noticed this during the test drive." Unfortunately for unwary buyers, the seat pain is noticeable after 15-20 minutes.

A rock bounced up from the road and put a hole in the radiator. You would think that Honda would put some type of guard in the grill to prevent road debris from damaging the cooloing system. Not only did it cost over $700 for the repair, I had to rent a car because the dealership did not have a radiator in stock.

We just bought this car on Friday Jan. 14th through the credit union. We came home and my husband noticed on Sat. there was a leak in the driveway. He also smelled coolant. My husband is a mechanic ASE certified triple master for broward county. He saw the leak but could not determine where it was coming from. He called it he said if they can't find it they will have remove the motor mounts and it may need a new motor. Well that is exactly what happened. We feel that Honda needs to give us a brand new car and not just replace the engine. We will continue to escalate this to get some attention on this. We have a case # No12011-01-1900150. I hoping Honda comes through on this. We have waited since Aug.for this car and this is our first Honda. I had only heard good things about Honda and now this. Not sure what these complaints do but if this situation is not resolved favorably for us I will use Fb and other means to warn any future consumers of Honda. This is such a shame.
