CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2012 Honda Accord has a solid reputation (so far), with one very significant flaw: uncomfortable seats.

Owners have consistently reported uncomfortable seats with the entire 8th generation (2008-2012) of Honda Accords. Complaints range from back pain to leg circulation problems due to bad lumbar support, cushioning, & seat angle. Complaints aren't limited to only a certain body type -- the seat comfort problems are from a wide spectrum of owner height & weight.

The common theme we hear is "we never noticed this during the test drive." Unfortunately for unwary buyers, the seat pain is noticeable after 15-20 minutes.

The moonroof/windows open with remote simultaneously, depending how many times you push button. But you cannot close window/moonroof with the remote and must use door key-lock?! Poor design.

Had a problem, one evening. Locked car. Next morning was raining, and moonroof was slightly opened and water in car. We are not happy!! Don't know why moonroof opened! Power window should be individually controlled by remote. Moonroof should only be individually controlled from inside car.

Had a 2003 Honda for many years. Windows could be opened and closed with remote. Moonroof was controlled by button inside car. Why in the world would they design a control feature to open by remote but can't close it that way---! Can the moonroof mechanism be disconnected so we can use just the remote for the power windows. We did call Honda----they are researching the problem. Who checks these cars out when they do the final inspection before they are sold to consumers.

Thanks for letting me vent. Gabriele
