CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.
For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.
Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2013 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.

We booked the car on 17 Sept 2013 and the dealer said no car but due to urgency to use one, they arranged one for us and it was registered and 25 Oct 2013 and brought it home at 3:40pm that day. On 26th Oct, 2013, my daughter drove to work and back at about 4pm with only 45 km mileage, she heard flashing sound of water in the car like waves. As everybody tired of work, we decided to check on 27th Oct 2013 and as it was weekends. We found the carpet of the passenger seat on the left was totally wet and watery!
28th Oct 2013 I sent to the dealer and they said was the air conditioner outlet tube blocked and crooked. The water kept dripping as we all saw it though my pictures were very blurred. The technicians had them taken. They dried and worked from 9:30am till 2:45pm, but not 100% dry as they said, my time was too short for them as they needed sun to dry but for me, I lived some 16km away and I had to drive the car and my children after school. So I drove home and upon reaching home, I found the carpet as wet though not as watery. I put the NEW CAR under the hot sun.
Now, I want HONDA to recall such expensive HONDA City car back as WE all have to pay rm83K for 9 years loan through Ambank Msia. We are totally buffered and shattered by such a car as we all thought we are going to drive a very high class car but it happened to us within 1 day! To what I can see, I don't think they can fix up the whole problem up to my satisfaction as I felt as a customer, I have to be 100% secure with a good conditioned car. When I called their KL office, one staff told me that car was registered on 9 Oct 2013 and I was shocked and I asked why. I knew the staff name but I won't explain it here first. Later he called us up and said it was due to the mistake and somebody had a car registered with a number away from us. It gave me much awe. Was it a coincidence or something hanky panky was going on as this car could have been kicked to us due to being faulty ! WE never know!
It caused much anxiety to us since the day the car was found with problems. Now even at 3:21 am of this time, I have been searching high and low of how to file a good complaint to such a profound company all in this while, we are all wishing to own a car of our own of their prestige name and yesterday, one day, was gone for me.
I have to help my daughter to go to the workshop this morning (later in the day) and another round to the workshop and if the fix is not OK, it means, I have to go to the workshop for many days and many hours wasted with my own salary couldn't be FOUND.
Is it fair for us as consumer in this way if the price is RM83K and without recalling back with problems found within 1 day!!!! and we are going to pay the loan for 9 good years!!!!!????? We are not the RICH people thus we found the thing that we bought must be justified with the money we paid.
