I contacted a Nissan dealer regarding a repair matter concerning a safety recall for the fuel pump module. It seems that the vehicle is encountering stalling issues, which could potentially increase the likelihood of accidents or injuries, potentially resulting in fatalities. I was informed that Honda does not currently have the necessary part and regrettably, they are unable to schedule the repair until August. There were no indications or alerts before the failure occurred. This is my primary mode of transportation.
While accelerating on the highway my car suddenly hesitated and I lost power. At the same time the check engine light came on. By the time I was safely able to pull over to the side of the road a plethora of warning lights had come on. Luckily I was not far from home and I was eventually able to make it back to the house safely with only mild hesitation. The car is currently at the dealership and they've let me know it's an issue with the fuel injector (P0303 misfire). After reading online it seems as though many folks with 2018 Honda Accord 1.5 are/have been having the same problem. This is a known issue and a recall is needed as it seriously puts lives at risk. It is only by the grace of fate that there weren't any cars behind nor to the side of me at the time of the major hesitation. My car has less than 75k miles on it so this issue is not due to wear and tear.
Vehicle stalls upon start on multiple occasions. Vehicle will not start at all on multiple occasions. On approximately February 2024 vehicle sent a warning signal while driving. Warning states vehicle cannot accelerate while driving on the highway, then vehicle slows under traffic speed causing fear of crash while on the highway causing me to pull over and restart vehicle. After restart, vehicle stalled again. Children were present in the vehicle. Called dealer to inform about the issue and was made aware of recall on fuel pump. Dealer does not have parts and will not have parts for recall for months. Called dealers near me periodically over the course of months. All local dealers reported parts will not be available for ongoing months.
Honda recall letter received February 2024, stating that car's fuel pump is defective, and will be replaced as part of the recall. It is now mid-May, four months later, and local Honda dealer has no idea when the fuel pump will be available. Meanwhile we feel unsafe driving this car. This is a very big problem for us.

The lights on my dashboard keep turning on. I have informed the dealership that my vehicle has a recall but they say that is not the issue. I informed them they have to fix it because of the recall and they said my pump is fine. That it-??s the injectors.
I-??ve owned this car for almost 6 years now and one day out of nowhere all warning lights on this car came on and the car can barely drive up to 10 MPH. The car won-??t go past 10 MPH. Engine light, cruise control and every single warning light were showing on the dashboard. I ended up paying huge amount to get it fix and on top of that I was not able to go to work.
During drives I feel my vehicle stalling out as I push on the gas pedal. This occurs randomly and I'm sure the fuel/pump needs to be replaced soon. I've even experienced the engine to shake and a few times it has not started. I regularly drive this vehicle and I have been trying to get the part replaced since the recall was submitted. This is unsafe for my wife and kids as well as myself.
Getting engine lights with emission system problem. Cylinder one Misfires. Checked with service which said Only 49K miles and injectors are gone. Need to replace injectors. Honda will not provide injector unless we do repair form dealer. Waiting for months. Always on backorder They said its known issue. Already spend lot of money Not sure why its not on recall since lot of people with 2018 Accord having this issue
I Lost all system brake system tpms vehicle stability electric power steering hill start adaptive cruise control collision mitigation road departure Emission system problem. Check engine code that keeps popping out is P0301 have changed injectors and coil packs and have done further research on vehicle there are a lot of people stating they are a bad batch of injector and I have looked up to buy the injector and are unavailable. I believe the injector are bad and causing multiple check engine to pop up and further increasing the possibility of a crash or accident.
This has caused my car to stall while driving. It's causing sputtering and other issues. All lights come on the dash at times also. I've been told by the dealer the parts are ordered for this recall, and now I'm finding that there are NO PARTS for this recall. I have a three year old son and cannot afford to have it stall with him.
The car has 73,820 miles on it. Flashing check engine light came on, stalling, unable to drive the car over 10 MPH, lucky I was around my house. If this would have happened on the freeway, I would probably get into a bad accident. Towed it to local Honda Dealership, came back as fuel injector problem (one of the cylinder was misfiring). After reading online posts of other owners & no coolant in the reservoir, I asked them to check the head gasket because a lot of complains about this problem. The dealer ship replaced the head gasket but not the fuel injectors after I asked them to double check the fuel injectors, but they insisted that only the head gasket was the only problem. After a week and a half, I went and tried to pick up my car. Before I was able to drive it off the lot, check engine light came back as one of the cylinders was misfiring again. To this day, I am still without my car. Now thinking about whole situation, we experienced some engine shaking when the engine first started. But it ran fine after a little bit, so we did not think anything of it. Good Will program of Honda will pick up the repair cost, my portion is $900 as deductible.
Fuel injectors went out not even a year of having my vehicle-?? and it cause electrical problems in the car where you can-??t use and car features-??. There is so many reports there needs to be a recall review
My issues started end of December 2023, where my car would all of a sudden stop, and this happened to me on a highway at a speed of 70mph in Houston, which is a very serious safety issue. After this happened, I got this checked out at Honda dealership, they informed that this happened because of an outstanding recall for fuel pump and told me to wait till Feb 2024 when I will receive a recall letter and parts will be Ava by March 2024. By the time Feb came, I got a letter and it says that it will be available in Fall of 2024, that is almost entire year of 2024. Dealership said they can-??t do anything and told me to reach out of corporate Honda, following their advice I filed a complaint to Honda corporate and when then finally got back to me, they told me Honda corporate can-??t do anything and I will have to wait till fall 2024. I informed them that it is a safety issue and that it is effecting my job, because I am currently car less, I have to ask around to different family members to borrow their car, this is effect negatively to my livelihood; financially and mentally and Honda do not care. Now I will be out of a car for 9-10 months and I am still making payments for the car and car insurance. I also lost my job just yesterday because of this. You guys are my last option, I do not know what else I can do from my end, I need my car to be fixed so I can do support myself financially.
With only 99,000 miles on my 2018 1.5L 4 cyl Accord, the electrical part of the fuel injectors is beginning to fail. This has caused misfires in multiple cylinders. My safety was put at risk because when the misfires occur the engine has stumbled and all warning icons light up and the warning messages for all systems come on. When this happens the adaptive cruise control (ACC) stops working and the low tire pressure icon is always lit even though the tires have not lost pressure. ACC is a safety system and I will have no warning if a tire develops a leak. This could cause an accident at highway speeds. Moreover, the stumbling could result in an unexpected rapid slowdown at highway speeds. I have taken the car to an independent shop that reproduced the condition and believes the fuel injectors are failing. I called the local Honda service that confirms the injectors are failing. There were no indications of the condition prior to the warning lights coming on. From an internet search failing injectors below 100,000 miles appear to be a common problem with 2017-18 Honda 1.5L engines as I found numerous references to 2017-18 Honda 1.5L injector failure on Honda owner boards.
The car goes into limp mode and will not go past 20 miles per hour. I recently took my Honda Accord Sport 1.5 to get checked out because all the lights came on the dashboard and it was rough shaking starting the car that eventually subsides, idles fine, and drives fine. When on the highway, trying to accelerate to high speeds, the car will start having a rough start to accelerate. I took it to two dealerships, and they said there's nothing they can do because the codes are not showing what the exact issue is and suggested that I change my spark plugs and fuel injectors (which was already done at around 60,000 miles). Utter disappointment in this vehicle.
Was driving down the road car completely loose power check engine light started blinking pulled over turn the car off. Turn it back on check engine light disappeared. Vehicle did fine feels like vehicles constantly losing power runs fine acceleration and it starts to cut out hook the check engine light system up and as most 2018 through 2019 Honda Accord error pops up Fuel rail/system pressure-too low bank one
