07/28/2023 - Car showed many brake system errors: electric parking brake, vehicle stability, adaptive cruise control, etc. Took to Heritage Honda, Bel Air, MD, and got error code diagnosis of PI20-00, brake system/pedal simulator failure. Heritage "reflashed" pedal simulator and cleared code. Told OK to drive but if brake system errors showed up again, pull over to side of road and have car towed. Drove 20+ miles home. 07/29/2023 - Car again showed brake system errors as on 07/28. Husband and I drove car around our development and there were no brakes, even after husband pumping and pushing down on brake pedal very hard. 07/31/2023 - Flat bed towed car to Martin Honda, Newark, DE and got same error code. Paid to replace brake pedal simulator, PN 01469-TWA-A56. Issue is that brake system did not fail safely, because failure of pedal simulator left me with no brakes. Requested Honda pay entire Martin Honda invoice but Honda paid $1400 of repair. Have since requested that Honda pay remaining $1000 that I paid, plus diagnostic fee for Heritage Honda, and towing charge.
I was driving 40 mph on a street when the car's break suddenly went on and the car stopped. There wasn't another car in front of me, no animals or birds were crossing my path, the car just braked and then stopped. The car then started moving again after I pressed down on the accelerator.
The automatic braking system will deploy without anything in the road, especially going over one particular hill. Now the car will not start and says there-??s an electronic braking system failure
Rear brakes rotors and pads are wearing out quickly. Vehicle has 14,000 miles and rear brakes need to be replaced. Front brakes and rotors are wearing as normal
Every single dash warning light is showing up on my car and I've had it looked at and claimed to be fixed but it has popped back up and I'm unaware of the problem and it's been this way since I've bought my car and I've read online a few others have had this problem

I went to a dealer because my brake system lights came on. They said that it was the emergency nrake switch. I paid $264.29 to have the switch replaced, only for the lights to cone back on that night. Screen Honda looked over the car and said that they cannot figure out what the issue is, since replacing the switch.
While driving with girlfriend. On a 30 mph street, in Avon, Mass. Suddenly my car brakes In gaged, with Bright -€œBrakes-€ on dashboard. Pulsed brakes, slowing me down to right side. Pulled right over, scared Obviously!! My car was bought Oct-2019. Only 14,000 miles on it. Mint Condition, so when this happened. Was very Shocked, not as others before me. This, really has me driving defensive. Waiting, for another episode. Not enjoying, the driving experience!!😡😡
This car brakes on its own. It has done this over and over. Honda claims It has no issues dealer has always serviced it replaced things but it brakes on the freeway, its just shuts down nothing I can do. I reported when it began to happen I even filed a report and sent letter to Honda USA. It last did it a few weeks ago on an expressway near my home. First time it ever did it on the street its always been freeways. I have documented emails to dealer, Honda corporate VM. No one is helping this car is not safe. It is not a made up thing. This car brakes on its own. It beeps signals when it does. It does not move it just shuts down. I have not been hit but know it will one day happen. If it does it has been reported and documented to Piercey Honda now Envision Honda in Milpitas Ca. My service advisor is Adrian Cruz
On March 22, 2022, while at a stop light the brake pedal started going towards floor. As I was driving, the brake light system came on and went off a couple of times. I called the dealership and the car was taken in on Saturday, March 26th, 2022. When they moved the car, they told me the brakes felt squishy. On Tuesday, March 29th, 2022, I received a call from dealership. I was told the car didn't throw any codes and Honda would not let them fix the brake booster. I was then told, my Accord had a test booster put on it by Honda. I was never notified of this before purchasing car. Had I been told, I would not have bought car. I was told this is normal for the brake system to do, per Honda of North America. If this is normal, how come it started 2 weeks ago and not 3 years ago?? There is something wrong with the brakes on this car and I would like the booster to be replaced. I've been in contact with Stirling Honda in Longview WA who tried to get Honda to approve booster replacement. I've also been in contact with Honda of Burlington, WA as they called to see if I was going to return car or buy it(I'm leasing). Honda of Burlington has been less than helpful. Been told, Honda will not replace and there's nothing wrong with the car. Brake pedal should not be going to floor. When I start car, brake pedal will go to approximately 1" from floor. I've also had issues with car braking on Freeway...there isn't a car in front of me. I have a picture of brake pedal going to floor while my car is parked in my driveway. It is on my cell phone and am not able to attach to this complaint. Can email if needed.
Rear brakes have been changed out 3x since 2019 car only have 60k miles. Vehicle have been worked on by Honda there-€™s nothing they can do but replace the brakes and charge me since it-€™s an -€œWear and Tear-€ component.
The ADAS lights indacstor turn on the freeway while driving, the brake system ligth came on and the car start braking while driving several times The problem happend 5 times on 4 weeks, i took the car to the dealer they replace the brake switch but the problem still coming up days after, now the brake ligths are always on even when nobody is pressing the brake pedal.
When my 2019 Honda Accord Sport makes high speed changes, the brakes will automatically start aggressive braking enough to cause a rear end collision. Driving on the interstate and no cars in front of me and then suddenly the braking system aggressively brakes the car. Very dangerous.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving approximately 50-60 MPH, the automatic braking system was applied temporarily. An unknown warning light appeared and the vehicle started making a beeping sound. The contact stated that the failure reoccurred twice while a truck was passing the vehicle on the driver-€™s side at night. The dealer was notified of the failure and advised the contact to bring the vehicle to their location for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.
While driving the vehicle will just suddenly stop on its own there will be nothing in front of the vehicle. This has started to become a serious problem it first start happing last year but now is happening more often. When taking to the shop they find nothing wrong with the vehicle. No warning lamps or messages. I have not had any other problems with the vehicle.
Vehicle will brake suddenly even if nothing in front. it has done this several times on the highway and feel this could be an accident hazard as it could brake suddenly and cause someone to rear collide the vehicle.
The automatic break system activated for a fraction of a second several times, the breaking system alerted in the dashboard. The vehicle has not been addressed. It cause a scary reaction of driver.

The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 MPH, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Emergency Automatic Braking suddenly activated, causing the vehicle to abruptly stop in the middle of the road. During the failure, the brake light was displayed. The contact indicated that no other vehicle or object was present nearby to cause the Forward Collision-Avoidance system to be activated. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 30,000.
I regularly had issues with the automatic braking system. On 11/2/2020 I was driving on the highway and the braking system automatically engaged, causing me to swerve and hit a semi-truck. This resulted in a total loss to the vehicle and ongoing back pain.
Brake light warning comes and with nothing in front or near me and on occasion it engages the brakes. Also the lane keep assist also goes off when I-€™m in the middle of a lane and going straight. I have had various electrical problems like this since week one of getting the car, and the dealer or Honda can never explain any of this
