The contact owns a 2006 Honda CR-V. while the vehicle was parked, the contact stated that all four doors were unable to open. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The contact opened a window and inserted the key to try to open the doors from outside the vehicle, but the doors failed to open. The contact stated that someone else was able to manually open both rear doors of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to autonation Honda (385 located at 4030 hacks cross rd, memphis, tn 38125, (901) 209-1308), but the diagnosis and repair specifics were unknown. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 155,000.

The contact owns a 2006 Honda CR-V. while the vehicle was idling, the vehicle had trouble starting. Upon inspection, the driver side door began smoking. The contact noticed flames coming from the driver side door. The contact was able to extinguish the flames and disconnect the battery. All the warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. Prior to the failure, the vehicle was repaired under NHTSA campaign number: 12V486000 (electrical system, visibility). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000. The VIN was not provided.
