The contact owns a 2006 Honda CR-V. the contact stated that when driving and attempting a sharp turn, the vehicle would exhibit an unusually loud noise. She also noticed a shuddering noise from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local repair facility for an oil change and the contact was informed that the rear differential was defective. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The current and failure mileage was approximately 52,000.
