I have always been a Toyota owner and then I decided to get a Honda as they had a good reputation. I have to say I am disappointed with Honda. Their cars have a lot of problems in many models. I don’t think my AC should have gone already. I read that this is a common problem with the CRVs and that some have been recalled. My mileage isn’t that high to start experiencing major repairs and I have to worry about what will go wrong next. My next car will not be a Honda.

Apparently a common problem with the Mexican-made CR-Vs. Received a letter from Honda saying the piston rings may fail, but no recall. Had to replace the rack-and-pinon at 27K. Way more problems with this low mileage 2010 than our 1995 Honda that is still a daily driver with 200K.

dealer said the warranty is up because it was over 75K and I told him it failed again with the replacement clutch. he said I was no longer covered and would have to pay for the repair.
