The air failed on my CR-V at just under 51,000 miles. I have contacted Honda and have not heard back as this is way too early for a full air replacement - the quote from a reliable mechanic was over $2,000. Since Honda has lost class-action lawsuits for earlier years about their air compressor failures, I was hoping to have them cover something as it seems that they have a design flaw. I am thinking of trading it in for a used Mazda CX-5 instead of fixing the air. I bought the Honda for reliability and it makes me nervous that this is happening so early. I usually drive cars until over 200k miles.
