Light keeps coming on and off, came on a month ago, now its back on. Tires were checked at dealership less than a week ago and they were reported as fine. Tires were checked at another garage a month ago and were also reported as fine. Very annoying and aggravating problem.

Had a flat tire on a trip. Got a new tire. After driving about 7 hours the TPMS light came on again. I checked the tires and they looked fine so I reset the sensor and drove on. About another 50 miles later the light back on. I stopped at a tire shop and they checked my tire pressure on each tire. They were all fine. Each time I reset the sensor it only stays off for about 50 miles. It will not stay off. I have seen online that this is a problem with Honda.

I purchased a Honda CRV in Dec 2016......after driving a few miles my tire light came on... We checked the pressure on the tires and they were ok and so I call the dealer were I purchase the car and they told me it was probably just due to the weather so I took to dealer and they check tires and reset the button. A month later the same thing happened again so we did this another 2 or 3 times. We finally took the car for some serious checking and they run test and check computer. They reset computer ( they did all test in 3 different occasions) and this happen again - in one year light has been on, winter, spring, summer, fall and now winter again. I took back again to dealer and they told us there was nothing they could do and that we needed to call American Honda - they assigned case manager - which he has not been the most helpful person (Walter) He asked me to take the car to the dealer again - so they have done same testing for another 2 times and reset and comes back on. They had the Technical rep from Honda perform more testing and even put brand new tires on the car and light went on after 2 day of installing the new tires. It took them 3 weeks to call me back, American Honda calls if dealer has call and dealer says American Honda has not call them. They have been playing games and now I was told to take back to dealer but when I asked what is next all they said is we don't know, according to the case rep - they have determine this is due to the weather. But no one tells me how they determine this. They do not have an answer of the problem and don't care to do anything either. According to Walter there is nothing wrong with the car (so I not think I'm crazy)

I purchased a Honda CRV in March 2016......after driving a few miles my tire light came on...I noticed that the tires were ok and so I took the car to dealer to have it checked...I was told the tires didnt have the proper air so the mechanic adjusted it and a few days later the light came on again. I returned to the dealer and again it was adjusted. This situation happened at least three or four times again after my second visit ,and each time I returned and the light went out. I decided to go out of town to visit relatives and about 50 miles into the trip ...there goes the tire light. I was traveling alone in early morning hours and became afraid that I was going to have a problem. I continued to drive after noticing the tire didnt feel like it lost any air. I called back to the mechanic in honda and was told to find a honda dealer and have it checked. I found a dealership and the problem was resolved. I didnt have a problem again until I took it back to the original dealership and had an oil change and tires rotated. The tire light came back on again... I was told it happens when theres a temperature change. (although it was still fairly warm). Everytime I get on the highway the light comes on! It is really annoying because I never know when its the real deal unless I have a flat tire that I can see with my own eyes!I dont know how to resolve this problem!

TPMS LIGHT HAS COME ON 8 TIMES SINCE OCTOBER, 2017. HAD THE CAR IN TO BE CHECKED FOR THIS 6 TIMES. DIFFERENT EXCUSE/REASON EACH TIME THE CAR WENT IN-TIRES IMPROPERLY INFLATED-PSI NUMBERS INCORRECT. ALL TIRE PRESSURE PROBLEMS WERE HANDLED AT THE DEALER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. AFTER SEVERAL VISITS, SERVICE MANAGER TOOK OVER THE CAR FOR TWO DAYS. CAR MEMORY BANK DELETED, CAR TAKEN ON EXPRESSWAY, CAR RESET, ETC. THAT SOLUTION LASTED 4 WEEKS. THIS TIME I WAS TOLD TO BRING THE CAR IN TO HAVE THE INTERNAL CODES CHECKED OUT. NOTHING WRONG THERE. PER DEALER SERVICE MANAGER, HONDA HAS TO WORK ON A SOLUTION. CAR IS SAFE. JUST KEEP CHECKING THE TIRES. A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE HAVING THIS PROBLEM, NOT ONLY HONDA, PER SERVICE MANAGER.

Update from Mar 29, 2018: DECEMBER 4, 2017 TPMS LIGHT ON. CAR CHECKED FOR CODE ISSUES. NO CODE ISSUES.

FEBRUARY 16, 2018 TPMS LIGHT ON. SLOW LEAK IN TIRE FOUNDS. NEW TIRE PLACED.

FEBRUARY 22, 2018 TPMS LIGHT BACK ON. CAR LEFT AT DEALER FOR SEVERAL DAYS. NO CODE VIOLATIONS. CAR WAS ROAD TESTED.

MARCH 16, 2018 TPMS LIGHT BACK ON. OUTSIDE TEMP SENSOR WAS FOUND DEFECTIVE- THERE WAS A 5 DEGREE DIFFERENCE FROM THE THE OUTSIDE TEMP SENSOR AND THE TEMPERATURE READING FROM THE INTERNAL DIAGNOSTIC TESTING-THE DIAGNOSTICS WERE POSTED ON A COMPUTER THAT WAS CONNECTED TO THE HONDA.OUTSIDE TEMP SENSOR WAS STUCK AT 37 DEGREES TEMP SENSOR COMMUNICATES WITH THE VSA SYSTEM DIRECTLY RELATING TO THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT CODE C0077-78. STILL UNDER WARRANTEE.

OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE SENSOR FOR CLIMATE CONTROL WAS REPLACED.

After 3rd oil change from honda dealer it started. My tire pressure duly checked by certified mechanics . I also do fill the air in tires from Mr. Lube and they recommended 35 psi in all tires. Even then it shows tpms light on. It was recalibrated a number of times. Nothing changed, I cannot recommended and advise anybody to buy this kind of vehicle where problem starts after 22000 kms. I don't think I can avail any support from HONDA CANADA.

In mid July the TPMS light came on in my 2016 CRV. I took it in to Honda and they said tire pressures were slightly off. The next day it came on again. I went back to Honda and they said it was not calibrated properly and it should be fine. Again the next day it came back on. Honda said they needed to keep overnight to properly check it. They said there was nothing wrong with the tires and ensured that shouldn't happen again. Then drove the car for about two weeks and it came back on again. I went back to Honda and they claimed they again recalibratedand it should be OK. Next day it came back on. By this point I was very annoyed because I was going to have to waste more time sitting at Honda. My co-worker checked the tires and showed me how to recalibrate myself. Since then it has come back on 2 more times and each time I get tire pressure checked and pressure are with a 1-2 lb off. I started looking for the problem on the internet and apparently I am not the only person with this problem. Clearly there is something wrong with the TPMS system in 2016 Honda CRV. What is the point of having a TPMS system if it You can't trust it? This is not the first CRV I have had, my 2011 never had this problem. Only time it came on was if there was a temperature change or warning me of a tire flat.

A day after having the oil changed at the Nissan dealership, the TPMS light came on. I reset it by pressing the TPMS button, but the light came on again several minutes later. I checked the tire pressure and all tires were at the appropriate PSI. I reset the TPMS again, and it turned back on again. This happened about six months before, and it took resetting the TPMS several times before it finally stayed off. That solution doesn't seem to be working this time.

Probably easily fixed by heading back to the mechanic but pretty irksome that this just happens.

Dealer told me that my engine does not have the tire pressure gauge. I asked why the tire light keeps coming on. They gave me a song and a dance. The light should not come on this often.

I have no choice but to replace my tires and then perhaps get the proper gauges.

I swear the tech start telling me that due to the sky and the moon and the rotation of the tire.....................

There is no answer

My wife on her way home from the purchase of the new 2016 CRV and this tire light comes on. I check when she gets home; all are within a pound. I reset the alarm. I drove it another 20 miles and the alarm came on again. Again, I reset. Will keep a watch on it.
