This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Got into my car one morning and noticed that my seat was completely reclined. Used the power switch to bring it back up, but when I sat back on it, it ratched back into the recline position.
Normal use of the car drivers electrical seat adjustment platform failed so the the seat was very loose and rocking. Felt like seat would come loose in an accident. Consequences could be very serious. Certainly violating the safety rating which Honda advertises. The car has never to my knowledge, been wrecked. It first failed in Dec. 2008 and was repaired by welding, which failed Jan. 27, 2009. The entire adjustment frame was replaced at a cost of $1200. I have the old part for you or Honda to inspect, if you wish.
The consumer was rear ended and pushed into the vehicle in front. The front seats collapsed along with the middle row seat backs, and the air bags did not deploy.
