Consumer was approaching an intersection and applied the brakes but the vehicle continued to move forward, as a result the vehicle collided with another vehicle, during this accident the air bags failed to deploy, the seat belt also failed to properly restrain the driver and as a result the drive was thrown into the windshield shattering it, the driver sustained injuries to the head.
While driving the brakes failed to work properly. The consumer can hear a loud clicking when making a left or right turn. Upon applying the brakes the engine locked and spun out of control. Also, the brake pedal is very hard to push down. The tires get very hot. Took to dealer several times and problem is still not resolved.. nlm
Rear brakes were squealing, and consumer took vehicle in to put rear dust cover over brakes, also rear brakes started having same problem, brake had cut into drum of wheel, contacted dealer, and dealer stated that brake shoes were defective because a piece had broken off, dealer will fix rear brakes under warranty. Consumer was back to dealer, dealer put back the drums, put on new shoes, front rotors resurfaced and new front pads put on, but the brakes started squeeling again on 13-Dec-2001.
