The contact owns a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact stated that while driving at 60 mph on the freeway, the vehicle stalled. The contact managed to veer to the shoulder of the road and attempted to turn the vehicle off and back on which failed for about 2 hours. Aaa was contacted and manually started the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the fuel pump relay failed and needed to be replaced. However, the parts to do the repair was not available as well as the remedy. The vehicle was not repaired however, the failure recurred multiple times intermittently. My Jeep all of a sudden stalled right before a sharp corner causing panic and loss of control of the vehicle. My family is scarred and my wife does not trust driving the vehicle especially after not even a week later we received a recall letter stating vehicle can stall but there's no solution!!!! when the Jeep stalled I drove into a ditch unable to over power the all of a sudden tight steering and now I have suspension problems!

My car is keep acting in very weird way, , but last time make me very very fear to drive it. And I face this situation many time this year, the problem is appears few times and I send it for fixing but still no one found the exact reason of the problem, still I am facing this problem every around 3 weeks. I am so terrified to drive my Jeep. I love it so much & have it for 4 years but this year I start to have a very serious issues with my car. The problem is: 1) when I am driving in the high way suddenly my car switched off and on again without any reason.( this happens many times) 2) my seat is going forward and back word suddenly ( happens twice) 3) the 2 sided mirrors on the right and left closing ad opening suddenly when I am driving. ( happens 3 times) 4) the light at night closing or become very low for few minutes while driving.(happens twice). Those problems comes and disappears suddenly and when I send my car for fixing they mention another issues which I always pay for it.. but I have only those problems that appears repeatedly and suddenly. Please note this happens only while driving. Please please advice me.
Vehicle stalls without warning. Vehicle is in motion, slowing to turn. Usually on a right turn near beginning of turn. Power assist steering and braking disabled. Has happened approximately 10-12 times since purchased in February 2019. Reported to dealership on March 5, 2019, at which time we were told it was a previous recall and they would order parts to redo recall. Informed today that a new recall was issued, but no solution is ready. Reporting for NHTSA records.
When I press the push start and the brake, the engine will stall and not turn over. It has happened multiple times in the 4 years I've had it. The last time I tried to start it, it would not crank. I used jumper cables to try and revive the battery. Doing this reverted power back to my vehicle, yet it would still not turn over. I then had to put the keyfob into the ignition and try it manually. Still nothing worked and my car will not turn over and start. It makes one click, and then nothing.
Vehicle will not start despite having good battery, good starter, good plugs, and good fuel pump. This has happened before related to faulty oil pressure relay and faulty tipm.

The contact took the vehicle to dewey Dodge Chrysler Jeep (3175 SE Delaware ave, ankeny, ia 50021, (855) 367-0915) where the recall remedy was performed. When the contact's wife attempted to start the vehicle, it would not crank or start without warning. The contact mentioned that the failure had not occurred prior to the failure. The contact had the vehicle towed to the same dealer where a diagnostic was performed. The dealer initially stated that the vehicle would not start. The dealer installed two new relays on the vehicle, which allowed the vehicle to restart. The contact stated that the failure continued to occur a month after the vehicle was serviced. The contact stated that the vehicle would crank, but not start. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The manufacturer was not notified of the failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 24,922.
There has been a sporadic issue when trying to start my vehicle where it'll make an attempt to turn over and get started but it's getting stuck as if it's maybe not catching the correct amount of fuel. I've also experienced seat belt issues with my seat belt light on and beeping as if it's not on but it would already be properly buckled in. I also had an issue with my engine cooling system that was cause some sort of leak

The vehicle was taken to Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and dover Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (396 us-46, rockaway, NJ 07866, (973) 366-7000) where it was diagnosed that the body throttle control and wire harness needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 77,600. The VIN was not available.
On Sept 21, 2019, Jeep's tipm failed causing hatch to open without notice, and lights and turn signals to blink without activation. We had it replaced and paid for the repair even though tipms have been recalled due to fuel issues. This replacement tipm failed again, causing turn signal to fail and not operate. This "bad" tipm was replaced again on Oct 10, 2019. Problems occurred when vehicle was in operation.
When the car is stationary it will not start when the button is pushed. The car shudders and the computer freezes. It can only start when the key is used in place of the push button. It seems as if the starter is not relaying to the fuel pump. This car underwent a big recall in March of 2017. The fuel pump, fuse box, battery and alternator were replaced. It was at the dealers for three weeks. The Jeep broke down and had smoke coming from under the hood. Unfortunately, we received the recall notice three days after the problem occurred, so we had taken it to our mechanic. Then we had to have an additional tow to the dealership. (recall R09)
The alternator burned out, burning out also the starter, the wiring harness and the computer. This seems similar to the recall ordered for smaller Jeep engines, by our P60/NHTSA 14V-634 recall. I was driving the car when the battery light came on. The car remained in operation. I drove it to a repair shop which found the issues. When I got to the shop, I could smell a burning odor. Date of 9/1/2019 approximate.

The contact stated that the windows activated independently and the sun roof also started to operate independently. The contact stated that other electrical components became inoperable, the air conditioning stopped working, and the interior lighting flickered. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the alternator and battery failed. The failure caused a minor fire. The dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was previously repaired per NHTSA campaign number: 17V435000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 93,200.
Having issues with gear shifting and the major complaint is the vehicle completely shuts down without warning and I have had vehicle in multiple times for the same issue and no answers. This happens as vehicle is moving and you have to pull over with no power no steering nothing. Scary deal. This has been going on for years
