CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2005 Nissan Altima has two fairly significant problems with the floor pan rusting through & motor mounts breaking.
Altima owners report that up to a basketball-size hole develops under the floor mats where the floor pan metal rusts through. Average repair cost is over $1,000.
The broken motor mounts are less of a problem - they break at ~75,000 miles average & it's $400 to fix. Still, motor mounts should not break!
I have nothing but problems with this 05 Altima including all mounts to be replaced, jerking in the trans when putting it in gear, exhaust to be replaced and much more and I think the Nissan should be replacing all these parts and labor costs problems as the car has low miles!!!!!
Well My Altima has been a Shitbox for as long as I've had it. And right when it hit 100 degrees outside it wouldn't blow out cold air. So I had my step dad take a look at it and he said the AC hose had a couple of holes in it. So in this 100 degree heat I have been going to car dealerships looking at cars because i can't deal with this car!
