You carry a fob in your pocket and press a button on the dash to start and stop the engine. One day the car wouldn't start (all lights worked, but no clicking of the starting motor). Had it towed and the dealership said the warranty ran out 5 months ago and the price is $1400 to repair. I will never buy a car with a fob ever again, give me a key to start the car as I have never had a key fail me before.
