Maxima GXE 3.0L V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 88,000 miles

Engine completely shuts down at all driving conditions intermittently. All electric continues uninterrupted.(radio, dash, etc.) Put on a portable diagnostic computer while driving and when this occurs the computer flatllines. Shows nothing. No codes or anything else. No fix found. Replaced the fuel filter first and then the computer after the no codes incident. Checked all relays and fuel injectors. Still happening. Very dangerous to drive, but no alternative until fix is found. Could it be the knock sensor?

Car starts fine. After running for a few minutes, the car tries to stall, it "jumps" and "jerks"!

Sometimes it will stop for awhile, then it starts back.

Ran diagnostic-no result. Got tune-up- no result. Added fuel injector cleaner and every other additive-no result. Please Help!!

After ~10 minutes of driving car stalls then picks back up when you step on the gas, always at low speed and usually during acceleration.

Maxima EX

car starts no problem, backing out of driveway may stall. But when she goes it's ok for a couple of minutes and then it seems it trying to get gas & stalls. Sometimes you think it stalls but the engine is still running because when you try to start car the starter grinds but the rpms dont register. Step on the gas she goes. When you shut of the engine and get out of the car you smell gas. Had car put on computer no warning lights appeared. Major tuneup Performed. Car did not stall for two days. She now stalls constantlly like every three or four miles sometimes when leaving the driveway. One garage cant find anything wrong the other says maybe the transmission fluid filter may need changing. Help please thank you
