Driver's side seat belt retractor known as a tensioner no longer functions. This creates a problem for the restraint system. The lap shoulder belt is loose and can cause injury. I contacted Nissan about their written policy that they will pick up the charge to replace the unit for life. Nissan told me that I was out of that warranty and would have to pay to get a new seat belt for $180. This is an outrage and the restraints are going out on many of them. I want Nissan to fix at their expense.
