July 2018 while on vacation the A/C went out 350 miles from home. The A/C Compressor clutch went out and I had to have the compressor replaced while on vacation resulting in an $700-800 bill. Something worth mentioning I was pulling our small camping trailer with "tow mode" on when this occurred. Fast forward to August 2019 A/C went out for the second time (also while pulling a trailer). I had it checked thinking it was leaking somewhere and found no leaks (another $165 to add dye). Pulled the Freon and replaced it with the exact amount at a local dealership confirming there wasn't a leak ($139). It started working again for about 2 days and gone again!!!!!! Compressor doesn't seem to be kicking on. I cannot confirm but it seems to me the hard downshifting (high RPMs) in tow mode had something to do with it or a really strange coincidence. Probably will never own another Nissan at this rate.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder - This car has been NOTHING but trouble. We bought it at Moore Nissan, which was a terrible dealership (now Benton Nissan), . After we took it home, we saw there were holes cut out of the 3rd seat and the foam was coming out. The hood of the car looked as though it would flip up and we took it back. The dealership said that is how it is supposed to be. It still looks like it will fly up.

In 2018 it was recalled for the transmission. I took it back and the dealership said they "re-programmed" something in the transmission. Not sure what. The Air Compressor went out on the A/C, another $1100. Then in March of this year, the first week, the transmission stopped engaging. We had to pay $4600 to have this fixed.

Now the gas pedal doesn't work. We can press the pedal as much as we want and the car does not go. It's only been ONE WEEK since we had the transmission replaced. When I took this to the Nissan place to have the Transmission fixed, I reminded them that I had brought it for a recall the previous year.

The car only has 123k miles on it. The transmission should NOT go out on a Nissan with this few miles. None the less, we had to pay. I will NEVER buy anything else from Benton Nissan, and never ever plan to purchase another Nissan. Nissan needs to do a recall on the 2013 Transmissions. There are dozens of complaints on the same thing. RIDICULOUS!

Air compressor is out at 75K, this is pretty awful. Since it is out of warranty I did not even bother going to dealer to be fixed. I used local shop to do the job. While working on AC mechanic found bad belt tensioner. So it was another 200$ to fix. I love this car but it keeps me down. Pretty unreliable car.
