When I first purchased vehicle I noticed the hood shook a lot and it still does. They claim at Nissan it was a latch recall..I call lies. They never fixed it, does the same thing.

The hood looks like it is going to pop open at any given time when driving. Primarily on the highway at typical highway speeds but even at lower speeds. I originally thought it just wasn't shut properly. I have had the service department check it several times.

When you start driving over 65 miles an hour the hood appears as if its going to come flying open and smash into the windshield, I am getting this looked at along with a list of other things next week.

first road trip with children for a long weekend one way 3.5 hours, took me on Tx 130 with 80 mph speed limit; drove 75-80 to keep up with other vehicles. after reaching speed limit, I noticed the hood moving (flapping) as if it weren't latched. It scared me to death bc if it flew open as I felt it would it would be a vehicle collision with multi-car and potential for injury to my family and others could have been to sickening to imagine. I pulled over to check the hood and it was secure and latched, I opened and closed it several times and it seems that the design with the hood slightly hanging over the front of the car allows it to catch the air or resistance and causes the movement. It literally scares me to death. Has anyone had this same issue? If there is a fix or others that have noticed their hood doing the same thing, can you please report it so I'll know. Otherwise, I've not had any issues with my vehicle and love it, just lowering my seat while driving on the hwy to avoid the panic I feel by seeing it.
