This car has been nothing but problems from the start! Ive owned my Nissan Pathfinder for 11 months and today while coming home Im driving down a hill with construction and traffic at the end. I attempt to start slowing down but there are no brakes and nothing is happening. I drive past the stop sign, into on coming traffic, and finally stop as I hit construction cones barricading off the drop in the road. My 1 year old daughter was in the car with me. Ive been on the phone with Nissan Cooperate and different dealerships attempting to find a solution. One person is telling me one thing another is telling me something totally different. I am very frustrated with this car right now and want nothing more to get rid of it. According to Nissan I am to drive this vehicle that only has brakes when it wants to, two hours from my home to get it serviced instead of them towing it away and giving me a loaner vehicle. These people are going to get someone killed, there's no way they don't know there's a problem.
