My wife and I just leased the 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we live in Wisconsin needless to say winter is cold and heat is a beautiful thing. We received the vehicle with 300 miles on it and from day one the heat hasn't worked properly. All vents blow warm air but the driver side feet even with the recycle on it will not warm up. I have driven it myself about a hundred miles and it didn't heat up at all. I ended up turning it off because I was getting cold.

Pathfinder SB 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 12,558 miles

We had a unique experienced with our Nissan 2014 Pathfinder. We traveled 8 kilometers from home to shopping mall with the heavy snow condition around 5:45 pm in the busy road. The wiper is not working and cannot see the road. So I decide to park the SUV in front of the store. I signaled to the right and noticed that the light is no longer working. Shift the transmission to park position and tried reverse, but the transmission was not even moving. So we tried to open the door to get out, but everything was disabled because the engine itself did not stop during that time even using my remote start control and push button start.

I do not know exactly what happened. Another complaint is the heater at the foot area, did not support enough heat to sustain the normal environment in the vehicle.

When turning on the heat for the feet area it is actually not warm at all it usually makes us colder. The heat for the top vents comes out fine but is always significantly cooler when coming out of the bottom.
