Radiator, exploding and overheating due to fan locked up.
My radiator exploded while sitting in the parking lot of Lowe’s. I left the car running while I was loading mulch, and I heard a big noise and lots of smoke and the radiator coolant was running all across the ground. After getting the car returned home. I had to buy a new radiator have somebody install the new radiator and after that it’s still would not engage the fans at all. My mechanic put it on a tester and it showed faulty. I had to buy a new fan for the radiator and pay to have it installed, and now the car is working. But it is very frustrating and overwhelming for a woman to have to deal with this much drama and conflict when there’s so many others out there that have had the same issue and Nissan does not want to take responsibility for their actions. This problem has been going on as I’ve done the research on it and they knew about it and they still have not got a lawsuit our anything to fix it. I do have recall issues but I have yet to find a dealership that has been able to fix the issues that Nissan has put as a recall as they say the parts are not available and this has been going on for months , almost a year of them trying to get the parts in to fix what is already a recall from Nissan. Nissan does not care about their customers and how inconvenience they have put their customers in. I would love to see this issue solved with the lawsuit to make them fix and do right by their customers , we bought Nissan as we thought it was a good vehicle and would last us a long time and not have issues and we’re finding out that’s not the case thank you Sherry Wampler from Sebring, FL 33870
