When I try to start the car sometimes it won't start. The battery is good. If you take the battery out and put it back in the car starts. If it does not start and you turn on the windshield wipers they work so the battery is not bad. If you giggle the gear shirt and step on the gas pedal and keep trying to start the car it will stop. The last time I had the problem the check engine light stays on. I checked the Clinton manual (?) at the library and it said there are codes that the check engine light will display. It must be dome part like the voltage regulator that is intermittent but I can't afford to start changing parrs until I get the right one. Since the problem is intermittent taking it to a shop won't help because they only fix things that are broke. The only thing I can like to do is drive the 4runner off a cliff but I will jump out before it goes over. But that's only if it starts. Does anyone know what part is bad or if the check engine light will tell you what part to replace. I will pay 50 -100 if you tell me the right part. Thank you.
