I was driving my daughters to school when I noticed slight "shake" through back end around 35 mph. Then had notable "nose dive to right" upon brake application. Unsure of problem, had local mechanic inspect the next day to find driver's side lower control arm bracket rusted away from the frame. Absolutely no warning and lucky I was not driving down the highway. In the process of checking repair ability as this vehicle was my bread and butter. Not looking good so far. Really aggravating and disappointing to learn that Toyota knew of the problem, but did not fully rectify as I have owned and cared for my vehicle for 17 yrs and never received a recall notice. I absolutely loved this vehicle and now get the feeling a perfectly good car may go to "parts land." Expected more from Toyota.
