However it's proven to have one of the lowest driver death rates out of all vehicles (not just SUVs), so we've bumped it back up to our top award.

TL * the contact owns a 2004 Toyota 4runner. She took the vehicle in for inspection on her brakes and the dealer found that the front calipers were rusted.the dealer replaced both front calipers, which cost the contact $1116. The manufacturer was contacted but they did not offer any assistance.the failure mileage was 42,364.
