This is the second of two power door lock failures that I experienced within a month or so of each other. The power lock actuator failed on both front doors. The part costs about $260 each and I'm not sure yet about the labor cost.

4Runner Trail Premium 4.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission

The power door lock actuators failed on BOTH front doors within a few hundred miles of each other. The part costs about $260 each. I had to use the key to manually unlock the driver's door from the outside and the only way to unlock and lock the front passenger door was to lean over from the inside and unlock it.
