Started with a squeak, and it became more frequent. I figured out it comes from the rear. I took it to dealer, they lubed it. It started again and now seems to have gotten louder. When you get in, out, driving through drive-thrus at fast food, whenever. If you stand on running board and bounce up and down, it's the loudest. Embarrassing to have a bad to the bones vehicle that can off-road like a boss - but it squeaks like a very old car.
Took back to Dealer. He says it's no longer under warranty and the answer is to replace shocks at a cost of $2272.00 and they will be the same shocks that are on it. They referred me to another place to see if another brand shock could be used - but they said only the Toyota shock that was put in it can be used. I believe it's because of the TRD PRO kit thats on it limits the shocks to Toyota issued ones only.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
