CarComplaints.com Notes: Owners are reporting that their engines are running out of oil awfully quick. As in, 1 quart every 1,200 miles. Toyota maintains that’s with the “normal” operating range of the 2AZ-FE while owners maintain that’s complete BS.

The issue may be the result of defective piston rings.

My Brake Pedal was making a hissing noise, then the check engine light came on, and then it became more difficult to stop my car! Took it in to my mechanic and it needed a new brake booster. The cost of the part is outrageous, he said the price went up since yesterday they keep updating it, apparently they are having problems with it...Why have they not recalled it?? $1425.00 for a new brake booster????? I am starting to question Toyota vehicles now my car has had several major repairs this past year, and I take care of it.
