Water has been entering windshield nozzle & dripped onto the dip stick for the transmission, causing the transmission to slip. When dip stick was checked, it was rusted & corroded. Had taken to dealer & was informed nothing was wrong.
Anti-freeze used in engine turns to a solid jell. It will not circulate through the lines. It's a 100,000 miles anti-freeze & it burned the engine. Vehicle would still run, but the fluid is rusty. Also, transmission is burned. Taking vehicle to dealer to have it checked.
In 15 mos. This car has left me more than all others together !!! have lost thousands of dollars in income. Most unreliable unsafe car I've ever owned. I see hundreds of people in my feild of work and I tell them all not to get a Blazer !! it can't stay on the road and the co. Is unwilling to help. Very unhappy with the product and handling of complaint. Read E-mail sent to get the jest of problems this car has had. If my daughter or I die as a result of this faulty car you can be assured you will be sued !!! I've tryed to let someone know since 1-2 mos. After purchase that it was a problem. To no avail Chevy does'nt care !!!!!
Leased vehicle. Vehicle was put in reverse and made a terrible noise. Transmission went out. Vehicle towed. Dealer contacted and not under warranty. Repairs were done at consumer's cost..et.
Rust has appeared in the transmission fluid due to a problem that occurred within the tube that houses the dip stick, which could cause the transmission to malfunction.
Transmission slipping when weather becomes hot the problem gets worse. Attempting to pass someone vehicle may slowly accelerate, and may not even start from stop signstraffic lights. Also cooling fan clutch lockes at 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Removing H.P. from engine so there is not enough power to accelerate vehicle. Fire burned A/C compressor/clutch.
Brakes: Since owning the vehicle, it has been towed three times for transmission. Transmission replaced once, computer chip for transmission, but they say there is nothing wrong with transmission. Engine check light is constantly coming on, and the light for the ABS is also coming on.
While driivng vehicle about 45 mph, vehicle shifted itself from 2 wheel drive into 4 wheel drive and driver lost control of vehicle and crashed into a concrete embankment. The vehicle is being repaired.
While driving about (65) mph in two-wheel drive setting, the vehicle changed into four- wheel high all by itself and could not change out of it. Vehicle is at dealership being repaired.
