Ok I own a 98 blazer LS 4x4 or what Chevy called it "like a rock". I agree with that saying because it is like a rock just sets around in the way but at least you can use a rock for landscaping. Here is a list of everything that has gone wrong with this piece of cra. The 4x4 computer and drive actuators 71,000, engine 73,133, both front seat recline handles are broke. I had to take a screw driver and push the lever inside of the seat so it would come back up because it was stuck laying down, witch was a safety issue because seat belt would not keep you in the seat if a accident happen, replaced the wiper motor pulse board module x2 and is going out again. This was a safety issue because the wipers would just stop working and you would have to pull over and wait for them to come back on or for the rain to stop. Guess witch happen more? idler arm x2, pitman arm, A/C compressor, engine oil cooler hoses x2 due to leaking and once due to engine blowing and starting to leak again, ac/heater blower wont go on high anymore and wont switch to the floor, both vanity mirror covers above the visors broke so now a rubber band holds them shut so the light dont drain the battery, both front doors have had the door pins a bushings replaced due to the door dropping and not shutting right, rear washer line keeps coming apart in the inside of the car so when you push the washer to clean the window it might work or it might just spray all over the rear interior, the trip counter dont remember mileage when key is turned off or switched back to the mileage screen, now over drive is having issues with wanting to kick in and new engine is starting to have a knock when first started for the day. The sad part is that my Blazer only has 101,000 on it now. I have seen a lot of complaints on GM and did they listen? Nope they still making junk and they dont understand why they are hurting and having to ask us the tax payers to bail them out after we bought these junk cars and they didnt bail us out or even fix the issues that fell in their laps. What a sad and shameful way to hold your head up and call yourself an American Car Company.
